Tomorrow night we will be looking at Mark 12:28-34; in verse 34, Jesus stated the scribe He had been conversing with was "not far from the kingdom of God." What did and does it mean to say, one is not far from the kingdom of God? Come prepared for a lively discussion.

I'm sitting here listening to the Newsboys song, the "Greatness of our God."
His greatness is undeniable, and has been evidenced throughout our study of Mark's Gospel; and tomorrow night's study will be no different. We will be looking at Mark 12:18-27; where Jesus addresses a question about "in the resurrection..." The homework assignment is this; why might Jesus not have immediately answered the religious leader's question, by what authority are You doing these things, or who gave You this authority to do these things?
